St Davids Cathedral

A commanding piece of Welsh history, St Davids Cathedral was built in the 12th century from dusky, purple-hued sandstone. The cathedral is located alongside the River Alun, and is one of Wales' most iconic religious sites. While at the cathedral, you can visit the burial site of St David, Wales' patron saint, and sample the locally sourced food at the Refectory as well as learn more about the history of St Davids at the Treasury. If you are very lucky, you can also catch the St Davids Cathedral Choristers rehearsing or performing; a truly captivating experience regardless of religion or belief.
